At the 2021 US Grand Prix in Austin, in collaboration with Race Service, we designed and constructed a paddock activation that would fuse Formula 1 and Basketball in celebration of NBA’s 75th anniversary.
With the guidance of some NBA legends, the drivers competed in a free-throw competition where each team aimed to win $20,000 for their chosen charity.
Equipped with a 4K LED screen backdrop and a league standard wooden basketball court floor, the stand proved to be a hit for more than just the free-throw competition. It became a hub for interviews and the paddock’s biggest talking point throughout the weekend.
